  1. I have a 2003 Alfa 156JTS sele with around 133,000km on original clutch; yesterday after a short drive back went back to car and started it, put it in first, pressed accelerator and nothing- the revs were bouncing off but there was no foward movement, did this about minute or so and then the clutch finaly grabbed and moved foward finaly. After this the car drove perfect for the rest of the drive; clutch pick up was clean and all the gear changes were smooth;same thing happened today after a start up- all revs and no clutch take up for couple of minutes, i let it idle a bit and then it picked up clutch smoothly-i drove for almost an hour in stop-start traffic and there was no clutch slip at all, clutch pick up was smooth all of the time. Took it to one of the specialists and they did EOL calibration, drove it for a while and said they can't find any faults with the clutch. Drove back home in trafic with no issues. Once i got home i parked the car for few hours and started it again-same thing- just revs for couple of minutes and then everything goes back to normal (this doesn't happen on every start up but randomly-3 times out of maybe 7 or 8 start ups) Is this symptom of clutch being completly worn? But if so shouldn't it be doing it all the time during stop and go driving? Any other suggestions? Smaky? Thanks
