What do you think? Just rumours or are Fiat finally considering giving into VW's constant pestering?

My Bimmer 7-Series (E38) had a label on the inside of the fuel flap that said "USE ONLY 88-99 RON".It would basically run on anything from jungle juice to Shell's finest. Bloody clever, those Germans.
So basically it said "use only petrol. Diesel might slow it down a bit."
I'd hate to drive something running on less than 88 ron...

Dominos ones are the worst...

You been drinking or have you got fat fingers? He was in the middle of sabotaging Nigels car so was typing one handed lol

It's not so much the fact it does it. It's the fact that in the bloody vehicle user manual, it says 'to turn this feature off, remove the corresponding fuse'. WTF?
-
My Golf has automatic lights. I leave the switch in the automatic position.I have no trouble sleeping at night. Coincidence? Maybe.
Automatic or just dipped beam constantly turned on?
-
Welcome
Nice motors (both of them, ignore this lot).
Oh, if you ask techie questions about the BMW you may be ignored completely
-
That's gorgeous. Why are you selling?
-
I just find it annoying. I'm the driver, I decide when I want my lights on!
-
The daytime running lights on the polo I'm driving are really annoying me. Basically, when you start the engine, with the lights turned off, it automatically turns on dipped beam, sidelights and taillights. The closest you can have to turning the lights off is turning the sidelights on. I looked in the manual, and the deactivation procedure as specified by the almighty Volkswagen? Remove the corresponding fuse.
Wait, but its the same fuse that powers the dipped beam, which I generally want turned on when its dark.
WHY??

Don't trust him V6, he's a dodgy characterWe're all bloody dodgy characters here lol

Hello.
Both myself and Harry want to start organising regular meets in our section of the woods, however we want to make sure it's not going to be us two sat in a car park arguing over who gets to take what car home.
So, basically, quick question to see who would be willing to come down to our part of the world for a meet? We're currently deciding between a few good pubs :Big Grin:
Bunch of Carrots - HR1 4JR (Bonus is the owner/manager drives a 156)
The Trumpet - HR8 2RA - (Bonus is the location is more central, closer to Gloucester folk)
Ledbury Rugby Club (Floodlit carpark, and a bar)
I'm sure Harry's mentioned a couple of others, but I rarely pay attention to what he says, so I'll let him add things
So, how many of you would be willing to travel to the above, and do you have any preference on location choice?
