@ah.. The GTA isn't that common but as we are part of the alfisti enthusiast we end up seeing more of them more often
@2spark. I thought ou did an awesome job of the window tint mate
-
ah right. cheers buddy. I I know I shouldn't mess with it but as there are many other boggo GTA's aboutit would be nice to look a little different

What you can do is once the ball joint is out of the upright is push down the old arm and swing the shock forwards allowing the arm to come right up to the neutral position, tie the shock forwards if it helps,When rebuilding, just slide in the new arm, fit the 4 bolts into the bushes loosely and connect up the lower ball joint then reconnect the upper arm ball joint, from there reverse the guide.
I will get a guide together with pictures the next arm I do.
helpful. I alwys get stuck getting the 4 bolts back in. Lots of swear words are usually muttered!

Lovely looking car JossIf you do it in wrap you can't really lose. just peel it back off if you don't like it.
I agree, wrap it, if it doesn't look right then unwrap it, but the car looks really good as is
he already said that
BTW Ever thought about putting spaceers on the wheels to bring them further out? Might look with the flared arches
-
Nice one smaky. I'll go dig about. See really the tech section should just be called "ask smaky" !

Yeah well my other 156 has a complete dash full of 3m stuff. There is a thread on AO somewhere in general alfa discussion. Most people like it. I'll be doing the wrap at somepoint this week so will post pics. As to the spacers yes the GTA desperately needs them IMO especially on the back where they are tucked right in and look poo

See I would keep the edge chrome bits to match the door handles and keep it still in keeping. I just felt the grill was too much and have seen lots of phases 1's with body coloured grills

The bose system in teh GTA is definitely not functioning correctly. I have to turn the bvolume up to +40 to hear it and when you open a window it gives feedback through the speakers. I'm thinking an earth problem but any thoughts would be great

Just the standard 156 chrome grill mate with a faded badge which I have now ordered.
-
ooo good idea mate. I've got some vinyl spare so I'll give it a go and post some pics
-
I'd like to paint the grill black on the GTA as the chrome is too bling. Any thoughts on the best method as I don't want it to chip too easily. Alternatively if you know where I can buy one
-
I should hope so too

you two are suckers

You could always send it to abacus alarms who will recode and send you two new fobs for £99. Did it for our spider which never cmae with any fobs. Now we have remote cetral loccking and a fully working alarm
