  1. Each to their own. Personally I'm not so much a fan of the S2 bumpers. The older the car, the harder and more expensive it is to get parts. Plus, if you are thinking of a classic, you really need to have a garage to keep it in. (I don't know if you have one or if you have one and it's full of other stuff!).

Suds are notorious for rust. Our Alfasud Sprint was lovely but it literally disintegrated. I do like the GTVs though. Our 33 was good, and we only sold it because it was getting to be high mileage.

We never got a 75, but it's something I think he regrets.

What about a nice 166? Oh, wait

  2. Wow. I think it's a good thing you took pics. Where did they take it? Will you have to pay storage? Or the insurance cough up? You should sue the arse off the garage, but I think it would help if you can store the wreckage somewhere. Where there's a blame ...

  3. Awwww I missed the thread .... although I'm glad I got an honourable mention at the beginning! The Spider is back from a bit of fettling and looks rather epic - I've been using it as a daily drive a bit over the summer. The GTA .... is still going .... even though himself managed to back it into the builders' trailer and the bumper now has a large scratch and a crack
