Well, timing from the traffic tonight I should be there around 6pm tomorrow - I have *stupidly* bright red hair, so please wave at me so I don't look lost!
-
Well Gemini looked *gorgeous* this morning. But since then it's been constantly raining, guessing muddy roads on the way home will also not help.
It's a thankless task, but it's more fun than cleaning the house!
-
It's looking rainy by me, so I made sure the outside was all done. Still need to get the inside done if I get a chance tomorrow night!
-
Glad I'm not the only one who's taken advantage of the sunshine! Managed to get the gloss protector on this time too.
-
I might have to forego the BBQ to work out how I'm going to get the supercars home?
-
I do tend to end up cooking for a lot of people - maybe if we do an AD BBQ I can feed you all! Usually it's my baking efforts taken to work:
In between cleaning the car of course.
-
I always make tons of gravy, it's just I don't like a lot. I like to taste the flavour of all the other things I've cooked!
-
I only like a little, mainly on the veg so it tastes like meat, as it should do.

Can't beat a bit of home cooking though:
-
I know you're Alfa enthusiasts, you can love the cars , just don't *love* the cars.
-
I'll wait in the bar for you guys then!
-
The blades are fine, just the clips unfortunately!
-
6pm should be fine for me - I'll just look for the cluster of people taking pictures of someone sleeping in an Alfa, right? :He He:
-
Well this little job has cost me another £26 - but I'm trying to keep her looking as awesome as possible.
-
That was also a suggestion I got - but I don't think it would fit in with the Alfa look!
Unless they've got Alfa branded cable ties... !
-
I'm at work till 5 so anytime after that I can get there.
-
Tempted if it's an open invite? Depends on the time but it's not far from work tbh.
-
Not to worry, located a full kit on Alfaworkshop, if the one side's gone I may as well just replace all of it.
-
Well, apart from ruining my lovely polishing job on Gemini, the weather seems to have claimed one of the clips that holds the washer jets on my windowscreen wiper too.
Any idea if/where I can get a replacement? Ebay is being less than useful and seems to be just bringing back loads of irrelevant junk about the whole blade/wiper.

My other cars I used to just wash and let them drip dry
Mine were lucky if they got a car wash once every 6 months... :0
But let's face it, on my past car history, you can see why - Rover metro, Vauxhall Corsa, Hyundai Accent and a Mini Cooper. Yeah, not inspiring, but needs must! This is actually the first time I've been in the position to get a car I genuinely wanted, so of course I had to go for the one on my bucket list!
-
Yep it gets like that with Alfas
Spent hundreds on cleaning products. Brought a mcguires headlight renovator pack for £40 odd and haven't used it yet
First time I've had a car I actually care about enough to spend this much time and money on it! Everything else has just been a necessity car - not as fun to look after!
-
A clay bar works wonders too. I did the GTV when I first had her. Came up so smooth
Can't do the GTA really I'll have no wings left
It's next on my shopping list - although it might need to wait as I've just spent about £100 on the current lot of cleaning products...
-
She is indeed! Only one lot of autoglym super resin polish on as it was getting dark. Next time some more polishing and the gloss protector. Also been recommended the dodo juice wax in blue velvet.
-
Also spent a productive afternoon cleaning her:
She's got a new tax disc holder on now, not that crappy one. The side repeaters were not playing today, so next time. Also now got branded tyre valve caps on. The 'youth' have told me as they were walking past my car looks 'boss' and 'sick', but I've been told that's a good thing...
