Hi all, I'm a newbie - owned my 159 for around 3 weeks. Couple of questions: There is a small tear on the rear of the passenger seats - should I use one of the repair kits on eBay or seek professional help?! A quick update; After a week, I still love the car... Feels 'German' in build, but with character. If that makes sense! Only a couple of minor issues - boot light doesn't work (no power feeding it, so likely microswitch) and offside heated mirror not working.... Minor stuff! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all, I know this is an Alfa forum, but it seems like a place with good knowledge, so here goes; I bought a Transit Connect a few months back, the speedo doesn't work. No problem I thought, I'll use my sat nav for speed reading until I fix it - bound to be just a sensor. After looking around, I found the lead, not plugged I as no sensor on the gearbox where it should be! Just a cap where the drive should be. So, must have had a gearbox at some point, probably from a later model with ABS. Or a Focus. Apparently the cap will come off when a pin is removed. So I got a sensor - but no way to screw it on as no thread on the box! I asked on the Transit forum, they said it must be one of these: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/151186798004 But I can't find a new one listed online or at a local parts store with that bung type end on!
