Well that qually didn't go quite how I thought .

Think the best thing I heard was Alonso on the radio link saying about Massa to the team " he's going to fast " :) clever tactic to try the tow but a little sad that's the best they could manage.

Sounded like Lewis is suffering again from Nicole withdrawal . Always sad to see someone of his quality beating themselves up in the public glare . I hope he can get himself together for the race tomorrow.

Ricardo has and the Torro Rosso cars have been the surprise . Hats off to them .

Di Resta didn't seem too happy either . Quite a lot of rather disappointed peeps today should make for an interesting start into the first corner though tomorrow . Looking forward to it.

Think Alonso and Hamilton will be the ones to watch , along with Ricardo . Doesn't look like Kimi is in the running but we will see he always puts in a spirited drive .

A magnificant race - action packed as it usually is. Driver of the day for me was Fernando.....9th to 2nd some achievement on a track like Spa.

So pleased the Greenpeace protesters who parachuted in for the occasion didn't ruin things. (You may not know what I'm on about if you don't have Sky!)

Yes, me too! Loved the fact that they had to use a blinking plane to go and complain about fuel usage!! Idiots.

Loving Eddie Jordan's grid walk, lets talk to everybody apart from people actually involved with F1

The Monza race didn't disappont - a pleasing result for Ferrari P2 and 4 at their home race but Vettel looks to be running away with the WDC which they're only too aware of. F138 looking competitive, at least, as it did in Spa. Some critised Ferrari leaving Alonso out too long before pitstop but there's no guarantee he'd have won anyway, although both Vettel and Webber had gearbox issues (hence Webber couldn't overtake Alo).

The shouts of 'Alonso' from the Tifosi were something else....no other fans in the world get behind their driver/team quite like they do. They also boo (Vettel in this case) like no other fans.

Lewis drove a blinding race.....edge of the seat stuff to move up like he did after not qualifying.

Massa himself announced last night he would not be at Ferrari next season and Kimi to Ferrari was finally officially confirmed by Ferrari today.....at last. Two strong drivers/personalities together (which could prove v. interesting!) So excited for next season.

I feel for Massa, he has never really been the same after his accident, there were odd flashes of his old self, couple that with Alonso as a team mate and his days were always numbered.

I hope he gets a drive for next year.

I think Massa should take a leaf out of Webbers book and move onto GT racing, let someone up and coming have a shot at F1

I used to have a pair of f1 cars for my scalelextric. One was black and gold think it might have been JPS and the other was a white martini one :)

That was when I was off of the seventies :)

I think I had the same set (for my birthday in 1979). Or it might have been Parmalat sponsored, can't remember? I later had an Escort Mk2, which used to beat my mate's Saudia Williams - highly realistic obviously!

I had a pair of mini coopers originally. Got a pair of 911s and another pair but can't remember what they are in the loft along with 2 tracks.

Looks like Red Bull is about to strike a deal with Auidi after it becomes kind of frustrated with Renault's change to hybrid engine. According to Helmut Marko, Red Bulls driver development programe head, unless Audi steps in, they may be out if they won't be having a competitive engine.
