bazzbazz 5 Report post Posted April 3, 2014 Is there / has anyone, written a guide for rebuilding / refurbishing, a Selespeed Actuator ? I just want to be able to double check myself when rebuilding them, and to make sure there isn't anything getting by me. If so could you give me a link, if not, point me in the direction of the closest to one. Thanks Baz
classic 2 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) I'm doing the same, my plan is to break down the actuator unit to parts and change all tps style sensors and o-rings on all five of the actuators. Accumulator was changed recently, if not that would also be on the to-do-list Edited January 5, 2015 by classic
Smaky 73 Report post Posted January 30, 2015 There are guides available from Magnetti Marrelli, but I doubt you'll be able to get it off them unless you set up a licence agreement with them, also there are 3 different types of actuator in use on the 2.0 156 and 147s, though they all work the same they are all slightly different in construction, as you can see the back plate piston plug on the image above is a bolt type plug, on most it's a plug held in with a circlip.
