smiffy 99 Report post Posted June 15, 2013 Well I've SORN the GTA the scabby wings are doin me head in so are the pink callipers not good enough for shows... Soooo I'm going to start doing stuff on it. Cambelt and CF2's were done last sept so all good there just Wings New arch liners Re-spray Powdercoat front and rear callipers New of pads New discs front rear Fresh brake fluid Braided hoses Wheel refurb Drivers seat bolster repair Re do engine bay tart up And finally new exhaust Phew Now......I want to most my self to keep costs down, Where's the best place to get arch liners and new wings from or will secondhand ones be ok and get the rust repaired The rest I've got a pretty good idea where to get things from. smiffy 99 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 Engine bay as is Started dismantling it today Questions The top engine mount can this be taken off or do I need to support the engine, also the bracket that holds it on to the strut can that be taken off? The cam covers are those ok to be taken off? And when re fitting do they need torquing down? Fuel rails, if I disconnect them will they piss fuel everywhere?
