Recommended Posts

Fuel guage showing empty and warning light on.If I remove plug in connector at fuel pump/sender unit, what readings(using multimeter) would I expect to get at connector and can I short out wires going to guage to check if guage fault.

No movement after £50 of fuel, well I doubt very much it's the sender as the car is stil running and there is only one plug to it, so out of to much experience on this... I'd swap out the triple guaage on the dash, it's the cheaper option and normally the problem part.
