moon_blue 92 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 I think the cold is going to kill my battery, after being stood for 3 days the engine turns over and slows down then when she started there was unburn diesel from the exhaust. I do have a warning light for the glowplugs so have to flash the plugs twice so this is also eating into the battery. Is there anything I should be wary of when replacing the battery? Smaky 73 Report post Posted December 5, 2011 If you have a standard radio then you may need the code for it, but other than that a Bosch 096 silver type would be best, the last thing to check is that you don't have a light out warning when there are no failures.
