Why did you go DOWN in TB size? It is more usual to go UP in size.

So, I am replacing the clutch on the 147 JTD (150) this weekend. (Good job it is a long weekend!) Any how to's anywhere, particulary looking for help in removing the driveshafts and what mounts need to come off ! All help gratefully received ! JJ

How the heck are you supposed to get them out? It seems to be seized solid, got the nut off ok. Got the outer long bolt out ok, been bashing the heck out of the inner bolt, but it aint moving! Next on the list is a large G-clamp unless anybody has a better idea/hammer!

But I want to........

There are differences in the front hinge as well, when I replaced my hinge the door handle didnt sit quite 'flat' against door due to the angle the countersunk hole is drilled at - but this can be 'adjusted' with a drill bit if you are worried (I wasn't !!). Or , if yours isnt broken there yet, you can swap the hinge over. JJ

And where would the diff / axle / prop fit with the fuel tank there? JJ

All the same wattage, probably got finger prints all over them as they are from the 'spares' cars ! Tonight on the drive up to your (and my now!) workplace, both n/s and o/s were the same brightness........... it is going to be one of 'those' problems I think! JJ

Following on from the previous 2 n/s headlight problems..... My N/S headlight is brighter than the o/s. At first I thought that it was just badly aligned, so I tried adjusting it. But it looks like it is just too bright, and it is on the 3rd bulb in 2 months - and we know what a pain that is! I am guessing it is drawing too much current somewhere, or................. as it says.... I have just picked up a red 03 plate 1.6 147 with a dead engine which I might resurect if I can get an engine at a decent price. Otherwise I will be breaking it to go with the black Selespeed that is still my my lockup ! Best regards JJ
