  1. You're both right. KISS FM is shite!
  2. Bodywork looks a bit ropey on the grey 159, but most of it will buff out. Also, he seats and steering wheel look a bit more worn than 98k on the clock would suggest, so double-check the history if you can. Other than that, it looks OK.
  3. Bearing in mind it's from an Alfa Specialist. They don't see many perfect cars in the workshop!
  4. All 159s have notoriously weak steering racks. If you're buying anything with more than about 50-70k miles on the clock, look for evidence that work has been done on it, or for higher mileage motors, replaced entirely. For a bit of light bedtime reading, you can't beat this write-up from Jamie Porter: http://www.alfaworkshop.co.uk/alfa_159_guide.shtml Bon chance, NB!
  5. Moving to correct section of the forum (from "Non-Alfa Chat").
  6. We can all play at mod silly buggers, eh?
  7. Just for you, Biggy, I lovingly re-typed every word.

  9. I'm sure I wrote a list of all the cars I've ever owned, for another forum... I'll see if I can dig it out.
  10. Absolutely spot on, I have slowed down recently. I used to have multiple cars at once, and get through cars in a matter of months. These days, I tend to keep motors for a bit longer.
  11. That's just the BMWs. I've owned nearly 50 cars, in total. And I'm not even joking.
  12. Fairly sure this is dirty.
  13. Come on sunshine, you know my E39 528i Touring is the best motor around. Here's the sig pic I use on the BMW forum: Seems to be popular to list the Bimmers you've had with that lot, so I thought I'd join in.
  14. Oh poo... I think I might have just accidentally deleted Fox Hat's last post. For the record, he was asking if "some dude soaping it up" was a euphemism. Sadly not. It was actually just a bloke washing a car.
  15. Yeah, the car's lovely, but I didn't need the slow-mo of some dude soaping it up.
  16. Anyone else think that video is a little, er, homo-erotic?
  17. The inside of my Bimmer started rattling the other day. Although annoying, I thought it's to be expected with a 14 year old car, and resigned myself to the fact it would be a bit creaky at that age. Turns out the locking wheel nut socket was rattling around in the glovebox. Normal (quiet) service has been restored inside the old girl.
  18. Blimey! My BMW 5-Series Touring cost £950 to buy outright... And I get to keep it forever. Like Biggy, I put some oil in mine recently. Actually, I'm lying. There are still three green service lights on the dash, so I'm leaving it until the lights go orange.
