  1. A V8 would make it an 8C. Already been done
  2. 310.050 extra people worthy of being called a wanker then
  3. I was going to ask if that was the 3.5 75. The boot badge kinda gives it away really
  4. What colour were they originally?
  5. No idea on them, unless you mean the top strut mounts? Its a common problem, used to see it a lot at the dealership. Not sure what they used to do apart from replace them. Think you can get chromed/stainless covers for it
  6. 18s probably use a lot lower profiles so the overall diameter wont be much different, maybe a little bigger. Is 30mm the minimum drop or are there some 20/25mm drops out there? Check the 18" rim and tyre width, i seem to remember standard Mito 18" turbines run 185 section tyres, cant remember profile though but i cant see you having many issues on arch catching. Not unless you fit wide tyres
  7. Still risky. Its only adaptive damping, wont affect ride height. Depends how much you value the underside of your car LJ
  8. Fuck me, theres a face on that dashboard!
  9. The thing with the active dampers is that they are made for those springs, but then they adapt to all conditions and driving style when in Dynamic, so should take the new springs. I think you will be alright mate, get it done. Every Mito is a good inch too high anyway, at least. They all need lowering
  10. Not sure it will work with the active dampers. But then as they are adaptive, they should (theoretically) adapt to work with the new springs Give it a go, if it works, all well and good. If it doesnt, sell the active dampers and fit some decent sports ones
  11. Should you not buy it first and then bomb it?
  12. To be honest Smiff, if your Gtv was a shit colour i would say go for it. But as its nuvola blue, stay clear. Its a pretty colour and should be shown in all its glory
  13. Yes. But i have just the noisy exhaust for you.
  14. Oh and dont forget, the 4C has 240bhp and that uses the TCT
  15. Well considering you can get a Giulietta 170MA TCT, i'd call that bollocks. It has the same engine and power of the Mito QV I think what it may be, the TCT is a £2k+ option and with the QV being an already expensive car, who will pay £22-£24k for a Mito? The box is great, lightning quick changes in D mode, decent full auto mode and yes it has launch control. Put it in Dynamic, press the brake with your left foot, plant the throttle to the floor with your right, release the brake and off you fly. The engine will only rev to 2500 while the brake is pressed
  16. You can make a 135MA better than a QV for less money. The better thing is you can spec the TCT gearbox Alfa, are you listening? Put the fucking TCT in the QV model and i will buy one!!
  17. No intention of buying one, especially when im out of work
  18. Dynamic only alters the handling on the QV models fitted with the active suspension
  19. Nah. Only Dynamic makes any difference to the power delivery you mean. All weather slackens off the severity of ABS and TC. Normal is just that Mitos handling in A mode is very good, you can have loads of fun. Just press the pedal a bit harder

Theres something deeply satisfying about seeing a prestige motor caked in shit
  21. Mito. Great little car. I mean seriously good and great fun to throw around The TA engine is a great little engine but it only works in the Fiat 500 where it doesnt have as much weight to lug about. Its even shit in the Panda which is essentially the same car. Its shit in the Punto, its shit in the Mito. You have to drive it hard to get anywhere at a decent pace and once you start revving both its cylinders, it vibrates and shakes the whole car. Not to mention the noise levels inside the cabin. Basically, Clarkson is right. Its a terrible combination, however brilliant each part is in its own right. You wouldn't match a greasy spoon cafe bacon sandwich with a glass of Bollinger after all
