Hello, I have an 04 156 JTS owned it since new, only done just over 76,000. I’m retired and only do about 3,500 a year now.
I am getting a bit concerned about the Brake Pedal travel, I get the feeling that it has got excessive. The brake is solid without the engine running, start up and the pedal drops maybe as much as an inch, about level with the accelerator pedal. I did a fluid change recently but nothing changed, didn’t really expect it to. I’m beginning to think that there may be a fault with the ABS however there are no warning lights and if I slam the brakes on it seems to be OK, no apparent skidding. Serviced it regularly, no real problems. No warning lights shown.
