Alright, seeing as this is my thread, it's only fair I fill out my own interview!

What's your AlfaDriver forum name: Morgan

Whereabouts in the world are you?: Hertfordshire

What are you driving these days?: VW Golf (I used to have an Alfa 166 V6)

How did you find AlfaDriver?: I was recommended to take a look by a friend.

Describe your introduction to the Alfa Romeo brand: Several years ago, my best friend bought a beautiful nearly-new Alfa 166 3.0 V6 Sportronic from Veloces Of London. I went out in it a number of times, and had always admired the car, both inside and out. Sadly, he managed to flip it onto its roof into a field a while later, but I never forgot that car. Many years later, and with his lovely 166 still in my memory, I was idly browsing Auto Trader online and found a 166 V6 at a price too good to ignore. The rest, as they say, is history. :congrats:

Outside of Alfa Romeo, what are your interests?: I'm a keen off-road mountain biker, and a big fan of most kinds of motorsport (F1, rallying, touring cars, Moto GP, Superbikes, etc.)

What do you do for a living?: I'm the IT Operations Manager for a big German company.

Tell us an interesting/crazy/unusual fact about yourself: Most people think I am Swiss Toni.

What's your "special skill"?: Being Swiss Toni.

If money was no object, what four vehicles would be in your dream garage?:

- Dream daily driver: E60 BMW M5

- Dream track car: Ariel Atom V8

- Dream all-rounder: A fully-loaded Land Rover Discovery 4 TDV8

- Wildcard entry: Late-80s Honda CBR-600F, or if it must be a car, a 1973 Porsche 911 2.7 RS ;)

What are you personally hoping to get out of AlfaDriver?: I want to be part of a community and help build a place on the internet where like-minded people can enjoy a decent bit of grown-up banter, learn a bit about their motors, and share their love of these fantastic Italian cars. If that sounds a bit Utopian, it's supposed to - I'm the eternal optimist!

And finally, describe yourself in five words: Tall, dark, handsome, intelligent... Modest. :prolapse:

Thanks for reading, folks. :yay:

What's your AlfaDriver forum name:

Keithyboy

Whereabouts in the world are you?:

Dining room.

What are you driving these days?:

Alfa 156 TS and my wife's Volvo S40 V16 twin turbo

How did you find AlfaDriver?:

From V6Hughes' facebook page I think

Describe your introduction to the Alfa Romeo brand:

I fancied a new car and compiled a list along the lines of Omega 3.0V6, Volvo T5, Alfa 156, Alfa GTV, BMW 5-series. There weren't many Omegas about, the T5s were all autos with clunky gearboxes, the GTV wasn't practical enough and the 156 was prettier than the 5-series.

Outside of Alfa Romeo, what are your interests?:

Beer, football, TV programmes about people who shoot other people, films about people who shoot other people and blow shit up.

What do you do for a living?: Civil Servant.

Tell us an interesting/crazy/unusual fact about yourself: I like brown bread. The only other person on facebook who cites brown bread as one of his likes is also called Keith.

What's your "special skill"?: Almost photographic memory for faces (though I'm shit with names). By way of an example, if I see someone in a film or on the telly, I can can pull from my memory what they have been in before even if I don't know their name and have only seen a glimpse in something really obscure.

If money was no object, what four vehicles would be in your dream garage?:

- Dream daily driver: 1967 Corvette hardtop in silver

- Dream track car: Something American. Maybe a pro-touring-ish 1st generation Camaro.

- Dream all-rounder: An ex-police Omega 3.2 V6 manual estate

- Wildcard entry: Early 70s Alfa GTV

What are you personally hoping to get out of AlfaDriver?:

Freedom to write rants with swearing in them.

And finally, describe yourself in five words:

A big fat northern bastard
