small question, why did you not paint the the top of the rear door? would painting this not help blend in with the rest of the paint?

I appreciate you are a pro, but was just curious

Nice job, how are you with Rosso red?

Depends which shade of Purple/Rosso you require bud

I'd have to choose from the 7 shades on there right now.

I was blending up the front door frame and the rear 1/4 D pillar!

If it doesn't need painting its not worth introducing a potential problem area however small! ;)

now i understand that preparation is the key, what does one need to do to prep the panels? and could i get a good finish using a good quality aerosol?

Rattle cans are for small areas really! Bumper corners etc the materials in the can are not really designed for long term finish!

I could write a massive reply to you so what I will do is a step by step guide with pictures so everyone will see whats involved!

I have a key mark which spans the drivers door onto the rear quarter... now painting it won't make it any worse as the key mark has been "touched up" REAALLY badly.

What kind of money would I be looking at for a complete paintwork "refresh" on a Miro Red 156 GTA SW?

All the plastic bits are now just flat red.

At least 2 of the doors have quite bad parking dings in them

The laquer is starting to lift in a few places.

Thanks

We've got a Rosso Red as Omniflow's above. As Smaky's, it's also about 7 different shades ....

appreciate a quote on that when you get a minute.
